Philosophy of life

Actually the philosophy must not be expressed, but everyone should hold and live it daily. For us it’s a wish to let live the Messnerwirt in its tradition as inn and farm in conformity with the nature. Authentically, genuinely and honesty for our guests to experience.
We are Franz, Brigitte, Astrid and Ulrich.
 

Customs

The annual alp returning, „the Grenter hay harvest“ the three-king smoking, the altar decoration at corpus christis day are only some approaches, where  we try to let the South Tyrolean traditions of our fathers still consciously live on.

• Easter Sunday: dedication to traditional Easter food
• Alp start: bringing the cattles on the alp: in the middle of June
• Feast of Corpus Chrisi: Procession with altar decoration
• Feast Maria Himmelfahrt: 15 of August - flower-dedicate
• Alp festivity: at the end of August
• Harvest thank procession: October
• Alp returning: October
